So, what are you waiting for? Let’s make a mosaic Antarctica penguin craft for Winter with the kids!
Craft items you will need:
- Penguin template
- Blue card stock or construction paper
- White paper
- Black paper
- Orange paper
- Black marker
Print out the Penguin template on blue card stock.
Next, have the children cut a sheet of white paper and a sheet of black paper into small pieces.
Then, have the children glue the small white pieces on the Penguin template, starting with the ground and then moving to the inside of the Penguin.
Once done, have the children glue the small black pieces inside the Penguin, all around the white pieces.
After that, have the children draw and cut out a triangle from orange paper. This will be the Penguin’s nose.
When ready, have the children glue the nose on the Penguin, and using a black marker, make 2 circles for the Penguin’s eyes.
Using the scissors again, have the children cut very tiny pieces of white paper, and glue them all over the sky, giving the appearance of falling snow.
Lastly, have the children glue a colorful bow onto their Penguin.
And, voila, the children have now made a mosaic penguin!
What a fun and entertaining Antarctica penguin craft activity for preschool and kindergarten children.
Just perfect for a winter animal-theme lesson plan at home or in the classroom!
