Easy Winter Eskimo Craft for Kids!

Here’s an easy winter eskimo craft and Winter Song for kids!

This simple and easy winter winter Eskimo craft activity is a ton of fun for preschoolers and kindergarten children to create. All you need are paper plates, cotton balls, crayons and some imagination :)

And, this run and creative Inuit craft is just the perfect addition to any Winter theme unit at home or in the classroom!

Mama, Do You Love Me? written by Barbara M. Joosse is a lovely story to read to children about a parent’s love and the Arctic.

And, there are so many great activities to go along with the book, like this easy winter eskimo craft and Winter Song for kids.

While the children are making their Inuit craft, play Winter Song for kids in the background.

The Winter Song for kids is a nice complement to this super fun easy winter Eskimo craft activity!

So, what are you waiting for? Let’s craft an Eskimo with the kids!

Craft items you will need:

  • Paper plate
  • Light blue paint
  • Cotton balls
  • Glue
  • Black & red markers
  • Black crayon

Craft instructions:

Have the children paint the rim of the paper plate blue.

Let dry.

Next, have the children glue cotton balls all around the rim of the paper plate.

Let dry.

Then, using a black and red marker, have the draw a face in the middle of the paper plate.

Lastly, have the children add black hair all around the Eskimo face.


And, voila! The children have now made an Eskimo from the Artic!  

What a simple and easy winter eskimo craft activity for preschoolers and kindergarten children to create.
