Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
(hold one hand high flat hand for wall, and fist of other hand sitting on top)

Humpty Dumpty had a great fall
(bring both hands down and clap hands once for “fall”)

All the king’s horses and all the king’s men
(gallop like a horse)

Couldn’t put Humpty together again.
(nod head for “no” and make a sad face)

Coloring.

After listening to the nursery rhyme, hand out the coloring page and have the students describe what they see and color the Humpty Dumpty coloring page.

Coloring helps kids strengthen fine motor skills, which makes this a really good activity for preschoolers and kindergarteners.
